It is also oceanfront and located approximately five minutes from the Delaporte unit. It is available on a limited basis to groups of four or less. Inquire for availability and pricing.

The Townhouse

The townhouse itself was purchased two years ago by my law firm which is located in Syracuse, New York. It is used by members of my firm and only rented at times not in use. Shortly after it was purchased it was completely renovated which included but was not limited to new marble floors, new carpeting, new bathroom fixtures, new windows, new French doors to the patio as well as a new air conditioning unit. It has three bedrooms, 2 ½ baths and three floors. When you enter the townhouse the kitchen will be to your right, a small dining area follows the kitchen and then you enter the living room. The townhouse as phone service, cable TV as well as wireless internet. Directly ahead will be French doors that lead out to the patio where there is patio furniture as well as a stainless steel gas grill.

Living Room

On the second floor there are two bedrooms as well as two bathrooms. The master bedroom has a queen bed, a master bathroom and is oceanfront. The second bedroom has two twin beds and is located next to the second bath. All linens, towels, blankets etc are located in the closet. The third floor has a large third bedroom with a queen bed. Guests have use of everything in the townhouse. The kitchen has all appliances, dishwasher, washer/dryer and is full stocked with pots, pans etc. Cleaning will be provided before you arrive and after you leave with cost included in the rental price.

The townhouse provides a great affordable alternative to hotels on the island. It sleeps six comfortably and is secluded away from the crowds that exist at the hotels yet is centrally located providing easy access to the all the Bahamas has to offer. Come escape to this beautiful townhouse where you can enjoy breathtaking sunsets over the ocean from your own back patio. The Area

As indicated above the townhouse is centrally located in the Cable Beach area. The Crystal Palace Casino is located approximately one mile down the road and numerous restaurants exist on West Bay Street which runs outside the front gate of the community. Two grocery stores are within a mile of the townhouse on West Bay Street and easily accessible by the jitneys that run along West Bay Street and cost $1. These jitneys are an affordable way to explore the island and can take you anywhere on the island. Four restaurants are within walking distance of the townhouse and numerous more accessible by jitney. Upon arrival you will find a pamphlet that gives our restaurant recommendations.

Many of my potential tenants inquire about Atlantis and Paradise Island. Paradise Island is a separate island which is connected to Nassau by a short bridge. It is also accessible by water taxi. The Atlantis complex takes up the majority of the island however homes and townhouses also exist throughout the island. Paradise Island is about ten minutes from Delaporte Point by car/taxi. In addition, the attractions that leave from Paradise Island such as the jet boat tour, snorkeling cruises and dolphin encounter will provide a bus that will pick you up at the Radisson which is only a mile from the townhouse. Please note that Atlantis is a private resort and that non-guest cannot use the grounds without paying a substantial fee in the hundreds of dollars. However, non-guests can attend the restaurants and casino however be prepared for high prices when dining in the restaurants.

Our Community

The townhouse is located in the Delaporte Point community which is centrally located in the Cable Beach area of Nassau. The community is gated with 24hr. security although the security is probably not needed given the location of the townhouse. Delaporte Point is a townhouse community of approximately seventy townhouses that is located on a point that juts out into the Atlantic. Thus, water is on both sides of the complex with a bay to the left and the ocean to the right. The community has two pools with one being located only feet from our townhouse as well as a beach. The townhouse is directly on the ocean with the back patio being only feet from the ocean, so close that you can hear the waves crashing in the master bedroom. However, the beach is not directly behind the townhouse but rather on the opposite side of the community approximately 100 yards away. The water around the townhouse is ideal for both swimming and snorkeling. If you are interested in scuba diving a world renowned dive shop is only minutes from the townhouse.
